Leo & his wife came out in person in March and provided me a couple quotes regarding a complete tear out and installation of windows and a new patio door. Upgrading from 30 year old double pane crank windows to triple pane energy efficient windows was a no brainer. After some time to think and final negotiating of a few things i.e primed molding we settled on a price. I paid for the deposit in cash (thank you stimulus check) and the wait was on for installation day.

Due to COVID everything came to a halt. After e-mails back and forth to LJ Neal, My windows & patio door were finally installed at the end of July.

Two and a half days of professional installation and a final walk for some touch ups I can say I chose the correct company to complete the install. Leo, his son and his wife were top notch. During the installation all my concerns were addressed. It was nice to finally see a sliding glass door that did not leak during heavy rainstorms, windows that no longer broke from their hinges every time you wanted some fresh air. Its quieter in the house, no more ugly foggy broken window panes.

Bailey, Leo's son even noticed a defect in screen, ordered a new one before I could even e-mail him fast enough to let him know about it. It was replaced 2 weeks later by Alside directly. I did not even need to lift a finger. The double lifetime warranty offered by both LJ Neal and Alside is a complete no brainer.

I'm glad I had the windows put in by LJ Neal & Sons. It has been 4 months now and I'm still satisfied. we've had some cold nights and the house does not dip below 68. Prior to the installation of these windows in the fall/winter the temperature in the house could drop as low as 64 in the middle of the night.

Last May you folks installed 16 double hung windows, 1 bay and 1 sliding door for our 28 year old house in Schaumburg. You suggested and we went with the ALSIDE triple pane windows. 

Having now gone through a portion of an albeit mild winter, I just wanted to drop you an unsolicited comment on how we like the windows. They are GREAT! My wife and I often comment on how the entire house is warmer and much less drafty. Our comfort level is just great. We can move right up to any one of the windows - even on a windy/gusty day - and not feel the usual draft we felt with the old windows. 

Color us still pretty happy campers!

My home is only 10 years old, but due to the bare minimum windows used by the construction company it felt as if we were living in a 100 year old home.  The second floor never held the same temperature as the first floor. The upstairs was always very hot in the summer and very cold in winter. Something needed to be done to fix it.

We have been researching windows and window companies for 5+ years. It's not a fun expense and we had been burned by a deck contractor in the past. So I was doing my homework!  I had about 10 different companies out in that time.  I was taking notes and asking neighbors and researching.

The windows were drafty in the winter and hot in the summer, difficult to function and some were decaying.  We knew we had to get down to business and pull the trigger but no one made us feel comfortable and confident with this purchase until we met Leo and Bridget.

They were knowledgeable and no pressure. We asked questions and they had answers. We were very impressed at their longevity in the business, 60+ years!  Not many can boast that.

We are extremely happy with our windows.  Our west facing rooms (full hot sun most of the day) are cooler than ever in the 14 years we have lived in our home.  They are beautiful and easy to function.

While windows may not be the 'funnest' thing to purchase, they are a necessity to maintain your home (and its value).  While they might not be fun, they are beautiful and   I am actually looking forward to our next phase of windows with LJ Neal & sons.

"During the late part of June entering into July of 2011, I was in the market for a new sliding patio door.
